We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors and hope that he will always remain one of our biggest fans.

(Madison, Ind.) - Shawe Memorial Jr/Sr High School head softball coach, Tim Torrance, has resigned after 6 years with the Hilltoppers in order to pursue opportunities that will benefit his family life and allow him to spend more time with his grandchildren.

“While this was not an easy decision, it was the right one at this time. I appreciate the opportunity to be involved with Prince of Peace Athletics as the head softball coach at Shawe the last 6 years. I am especially grateful for the student-athletes and staff members who dedicated so much time to the program. I wish the school and their athletic programs nothing but the best in the future, " said Torrance.

This is certainly a tough moment for all Hilltopper Athletics, our community, and especially our softball program. We have been fortunate for Tim’s leadership and companionship over the past 6 years, and he will be greatly missed. He has been a great role-model and coach to all our student-athletes and we greatly appreciate all that he has done since taking over the program. We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors and hope that he will always remain one of our biggest fans.

At this time Shawe Memorial will open up their Softball Head Coach Position for the 2020-21 school year. Any applicants interested need to please contact Shawe’s Athletic Department via email at shaweathletics@popeace.org or phone, 812-273-2150 ext.229.
