Shawe boys basketball traveled to Milan Tuesday night and fell to a scrappy Milan team.     The Hilltoppers battled, but ran out of gas late.  as Shawe fell to Milan 76-62.

The Hilltoppers had a great crowd on hand to witness some history as Senior Guard Philip Kahn broke the All Time scoring mark that was held for the last 55 years by legend Bob Wolf who had the mark at 1,461 points.   Kahn broke the mark in the 3rd quarter with one of his patented runners in the lane.     The game was stopped and players rushed onto the court along with some of the fans that traveled to see the record breaking performance.    Kahn finished with 20 points and Shawe got an outstanding performance by Braiden Smith with 32.

Shawe will focus now on preparing for the sectionals next Tuesday when they will take on Trinity Lutheran at New Washington.

The Junior Hilltoppers fell to Milan 53-48.   Shawe was lead by Cavaan Hambrick with 21 and Gus Grote had 18
