Event Summary

Area youth are invited to compete in Major League Baseball's Pitch, Hit, and Run competition in Madison. Saturday, April 20th, at the Rucker Sports Complex.
Registration will start at 9 am with the event starting at 10 am. This will be the seventh year that PHR has been hosted by the Madison Parks Department.
Pitch, Hit, and Run is the official skills competition of the MLB. This grassroots program is designed to provide youngsters with an opportunity to compete, free of charge, in a competition that recognizes individual excellence in core baseball/softball skills.
Boys and girls are divided into four age divisions : 7/8, 9/10, 11/12, 13/14.
All participants must bring a copy of their birth certificate and have their parent of guardian fill out a registration/ waiver form prior to the start of the competition.

  • Online Drawing and Painting Class

    Join Instructor Russell Vossler for a comprehensive series of classes on Mondays, covering methods and techniques, and focusing on a particular project each week. Each student will need to purchase materials for the class appropriate for either drawing or painting. See the website for materials lists. Registration required and participants in this pilot program will need to join the Facebook group “JCPL Online Drawing and Painting Class”. Adult and Young Adult. Instructor Russell Vossler.
