Bandwagon Tour Is Off And Running

Cincinnati & Indianapolis

As promised, Miranda Lambert and Little Big Town are getting collaborative on their Bandwagon TourThe trek kicked off in Charlotte, N.C., on Thursday night (July 12), (was in Cincinnati Friday) and fans got to experience not only headlining sets from both LBT and Lambert, but also a joint set.

Readers can press play below to watch Little Big Town and Lambert cover Bill Withers' "Lean on Me" during their time onstage together. Video from the concert also shows the two acts performing LBT's Boondocks and Girl Crush and Lambert's Little Red Wagon and Tin Man. The latter is especially haunting, with Little Big Town adding their trademark harmonies to the "ooohs" in the chorus, while Lambert's voice works effortlessly into the fold on the LBT hits.

Little Big Town had previously hinted that they and Lambert would be performing together during the tour. The quartet's Karen Fairchild teased that the set would include covers as well as songs from both acts.

"Honest to God, there isn’t a song of hers that I wouldn’t want to sing," Fairchild says of Lambert's catalog. "I remember hearing "The House That Built Me" and having to pull my car over from tears. I feel that way about so much of her stuff. Nobody owns the stage like Miranda does, and she has those total kickass moments, and she just kills it."

Dates for Lambert and Little Big Town's Bandwagon Tour are currently scheduled in Cincinnati, Ohio; Pittsburgh, Pa.; Clarkston, Mich.; and more through late August. Fans can get full ticketing details at either MirandaLambert.com or LittleBigTown.com
