Little Big Town have a brand-new single coming soon. The country quartet will share "Summer Fever" on June 6.

Per a press release, "Summer Fever" was co-written by Little Big Town's Karen Fairchild, along with Jesse Frasure, Cary Barlowe and Sam Romans. Frasure and Shane McAnally co-produced the song, while Spike Stent mixed it.

"It’s always amazing when a song seems to just wait for its own perfect timing. Getting the chance to bring this song to life in the writing room with my co-writers, and through the opportunity to co-produce with my friend Shane McAnally, has been a dream come true," says Frasure. "I can't wait to hear this song coming out of a rolled down window this summer.”

Fairchild takes lead vocals on "Summer Fever," the press release reports. Throughout the track, Little Big Town's harmonies, nostalgic guitars and an infectious melody combine into a summer-ready jam.

“I dare you to sit still when this song comes on ... it’s impossible,” says McAnally. “I don’t even dance, but something comes over me when this thing kicks in."

Little Big Town will open the 2018 CMT Music Awards, set for the night of June 6, with a performance of "Summer Fever." The quartet -- Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Phillip Sweet, and Jimi Westbrook -- are hosting the awards show live from Nashville this year.

The Breaker, Little Big Town's newest album, dropped in February of 2017. There is no word on if "Summer Fever" will bring with it a new album from LBT, but the group will be spending part of the summer on the road with Miranda Lambert on their co-headlining Bandwagon Tour with stops in Cincinnati on July 13th and Indianapolis on July 14th.
