(Indianapolis, Ind.) - The Indiana state police have released a statement yesterday stating that third employee has tested positive for COVID-19.
This employee is a civilian employee, meaning that they are not an officer, this employee was assigned to a field installation in the southern half of the state and has been self- quarantined since the middle of last week.
State police officials have been making notification with additional co-workers and taking appropriate disinfecting measures with the affected work area.
The Indiana State Police stated that they are working closely with the Indiana State Department of Health and are continuing to monitor the situation and is also following accepted virus mitigation practices. These practices are for the health and safety of employees, their families and the greater community.
