A report of child abuse is made every 10 seconds

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month. Child abuse occurs at every socioeconomic level, across ethnic and cultural lines, within all religions, and all levels of education. A report of child abuse is made every 10 seconds.

Indiana is a mandatory reporting state...that means EVERYONE, by law, needs to report suspected child abuse.

Call 1-800-800-5556. If you suspect a child is being abused or neglected, Indiana's Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline. The report can be confidential.
