(Bartholomew County, Ind.) - The Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is investigating an apparent hunting accident that claimed the life of a Bartholomew County man.

On Sunday, January 10, when a hunter failed to return home, a family member went to look for him and found him unresponsive. Conservation officers were dispatched to the 9200 block of South State Road 58 at 9:00 a.m.
