The Versailles branch will consolidate with Batesville.

(Versailles, Ind.) - The Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) announced today that the Versailles branch located at 833 S Adams St, Versailles, IN 47042 will end operations on August 28, 2025.
Commissioner Kevin Garvey said, “This was not an easy decision, and we sincerely appreciate the feedback we received from Versailles and other Ripley County residents. After careful consideration, we’ve decided to consolidate operations with the nearby Batesville branch. We know change isn’t always easy, but we hope expanding the number of days the Batesville branch is open from three to five, as well as encouraging customers to explore our popular online and kiosk transaction mediums, makes things a bit easier.”
Customers are welcome to visit the Batesville location, which will begin operating Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm after Labor Day on September 2, 2025.
