Caucus Set For State Rep. Chip Perfect Replacement

He has been a senator since 2014

                                       

A caucus has been set to find the replacement for 43rd District State Rep. Chip Perfect 

The caucus will be held Sept 12th at the Dillsboro Civic Center by eligible Republican precinct commitee members.

With the person elected to fill the postion until the 2026 general election 

Individuals interested in running in the caucus should contact the secretary of the Indiana Republican Party to ensure they file the proper forms prior to the deadline, which is 72 hours prior to the vote.

Perfect, who had served as State Senator since 2014, last week announced his resignation effective Sept. 26. 

District 43 includes all of Dearborn, Jefferson, Scott and Switzerland counties, and portions of Jennings County that includes Bigger, Lovett, Marion, Montgomery, Spencer and Vernon townships and a portion of Center township.
