CITY OF MADISON AWARDED $757,820 FOR PAVING

List of roads

The City of Madison was awarded a $757,820 matching grant from Indiana Department of Transportation for paving and other street improvements to be completed in 2019. The City of Madison will match these funds at least dollar-for-dollar, resulting in a total investment of over $1.5 million for local infrastructure. Paving priorities are based on a rating system which is updated every year.

Roads to be paved with these funds include:
Vaughn Drive (all)
Michigan Road (from Clifty Dr to Ivy Tech Dr)
Cragmont St (from State St to Clifty Dr)
Fifth Street (from West St to Vine St)
Milton Street (from West St to US421)
Sunrise Drive (from Hatcher Hill to Falls Blvd)
Broadway (from Fourth St to Fifth St)
Presbyterian Ave (from Broadway to Elm St)
Walnut Street (from Fifth St to US421)
Cedarwood Drive (from Clifty Dr to Bellaire)
Demaree Drive (from Michigan Rd to Clifty Dr)
Cross Avenue (from Wilson Ave to SR7)
Crozier Avenue (from Cassidy Dr to dead end)
Third Street (from Jefferson St to St. Michael's Ave)
Apache Drive (from Osage Dr to end)
Autumnwood Lane (from ditch to end)
Banta Avenue (from Wood St to Wilson Ave)
Cobblestone Way (from Sunrise Dr to end)
Elmhurst Lane (from Michigan Rd to end)
Highland Drive (from Taylor St to Wood St)
Ross Street (from Mouser St to Cherry Dr)
Scott Court (from Wilson Ave to end)
