Water main break on Van Buren Street

Due to a water main break Saturday, September 28, 2019 on Van Buren Street. The City of Madison Water and Sewage Dept. has issued a boil water advisory for those affected for at least 48 hours.

 

The streets affected will be Van Buren, Adams, Fox Trails, Wolf Trails, Franklin Dr., Monroe Dr. and Rabbit Lane.

 

Those who experience low to no water pressure are advised to boil water intended for consumption over the next 48 hours. Water used for consumption must be boiled for 3-5 minutes. For dishwashing in private residences, a few drops of bleach per gallon of water will also provide adequate disinfection.
