(Madison, Ind.) - The City of Madison parks department announced yesterday that they are hosting the first annual "Volley-Vaughn" sand volleyball tournament.
This co-ed tournament will be taking place on August 15, for ages 13 and up. The tournament will be played in a quads format (4x4), and each team is limited to six players per team.
The parks department is asking that if the team has four players, one must be a female, and if the team has five to six players, then two must be females.
Unless a need is presented to create age groups, the tournament will be open play.
Sign-ups include a two-game minimum, with the winners being awarded a gift card to one of the sponsors.
Teams can sign up at the Brown Gym or online, the entry fee will be $80.00 per team.
