City of Madison Sewage Department To Flush Downtown Hydrants

The Water Department apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause to our customers.

                                         
(Madison,Ind.) - The City of Madison Water Department has scheduled hydrant flushing for downtown Madison.

The hydrants will be flushed beginning Tuesday, March 23 until Friday, March 26 beginning at 7:00 a.m. daily.

 In case of inclement weather or water emergencies, these dates and times are subject to change. Any changes in the schedule will be publicly announced.

​If residents experience dirty water after the hydrants are flushed, they ​should run cold water only until water runs clear.
