Madison, IN – The Community Foundation of Madison and Jefferson County, Inc. (CFMJC) is proud to announce the Jefferson County 4-H Club and Agricultural Association as the inaugural winner of the recently established G1K Program Competitive Grant Cycle. The organization will receive a $72,000 grant that will be used to construct a new Community Building at the Jefferson County 4-H Fairgrounds.

This competitive grant is made possible by the G1K charter memberships collected between January 1 to March 31, 2026. Submitted applications were reviewed by an independent, non-G1K member committee, which narrowed the field to five finalists. The collective G1K membership ranked the finalist applications to determine the recipient.

• Organization and its program must serve the residents of Jefferson County, Indiana

• Organization must be an IRS recognized 501(c)3 charity or a 509(a) organization (schools, government, hospitals,
