Culvert Replacements Begin This Week on S.R. 62 in Ripley and Jefferson Counties

(Jefferson/ Ripley Counties, Ind.) - Indiana Department of Transportation maintenance crews will begin culvert replacement work today beginning today July 13.

This replacement will begin S.R. 62 in Ripley and Jefferson Counties, a total of six pipes will be replaced between Cross Palins and S.R. 250 near Canaan.

These replacements will result in daily road closures from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., the replacements are expected to be complete by the end of the week. Access will be maintained for all residents within the closure.

Motorists are reminded to slow down, use extra caution, and drive distraction-free through all work zones. All work is weather dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
