(Scott, Co.) - Indiana Department of Transportation maintenance crews are scheduled to conduct daily road closures along State Road 203 northeast of Scottsburg beginning on or after Tuesday, April 9, to complete a series of culvert replacements in Scott County.
The closures along S.R. 203 will take place between State Road 256 and State Road 56 and are expected to take up to 16 days to complete, weather permitting. Crews plan to work and conduct the closures from approximately 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Local residents will be able to access their homes using either northbound or southbound S.R. 203 in respect to which culvert is being replaced and the location of their home.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution and avoid distractions when traveling near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
