An autopsy is scheduled for today to determine the cause of death.

(Shelby County, Ind.) – Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating an incident that occurred yesterday where a swimmer went missing in the water at White Rock Park.
At approximately 6:03 p.m. authorities were contacted in reference to a mal swimmer reported missing in the water for at least 5 minutes, conservation officers, Indiana State Police, Shelby County Sheriff’s Department, and Shelbyville Fire Department arrived on scene and quickly began a search and rescue operation.
Around 7:00 p.m., and Indiana State Police diver located the swimmer later identified as, Lucius Chitty, 19, of Georgia near the docks in 17 feet of water.
Chitty, was then transported to Major Health Partners Hospital in Shelbyville in critical condition. Where he was later pronounced deceased at the hospital, the family has been notified.
