Hanover Woman Arrested On Neglect and Narcotic Charges

Arrest stems from traffic stop

April 20, 2022, Madison Police arrested Olivia N. Rowlett 23, Hanover, Indiana, for narcotic related charges.  

Detective Kyle Cutshaw and Patrolman Cameron Blankenship stopped Rowlett on U.S. Highway #421, near 400 North, for speeding.  Officer's noted an odor of marijuana emitting from Rowlett's vehicle.  The subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of marijuana, methamphetamine, and paraphanailia associated with the use of drugs. 

Olivia Rowlett faces preliminary alleged charges of possession of methamphetamine L-5 felony, neglect of a dependent L-6 felony and  possession of paraphanailia Class C misdemeanor.  Rowlett's small child was in the vehicle at the time of the stop which resulted in the neglect charge.  Rowlett has the presumption of innocence until otherwise proven guilty. Captain Season Jackson assisted.
