(Scottsburg, Ind.) - Get ready for a weekend of some free fishing fun at Hardy Lake.
Beginning Friday, June 5 until Sunday, June 7 visitors will be able to have a fun-filled weekend packed full of events.
The schedule of events is as follows:
Friday, June 5
- 12:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Live Raptors on display near the front office
- 6:00 p.m.
- Watch for the Roving Narutlaist in the Campground
Saturday, June 6
Watch for the Roving Naturalist throughout the day
- 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Live Raptors on display near the front office
- 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
- Basic Family Fishing:
- Meet the workers at the family fishing hole near the office for some basic instruction for beginners fishing. Sanitized loaner poles and bait will be provided
- Basic Family Fishing:
- 2:00 p.m.
- Reel Em In Fishing Game
- Meet at the beach to try your hand at casting and win a prize

- Meet the Naturalist at the main trailhead across from the beach access road for a fun dive into the native forest (Easy to Moderate Level Trail 1 Mile)
