Shawe Memorial Jr./Sr. High School principal, Steve Hesse, will resign at the end of the school year.

Hesse has been with the Prince of Peace Catholic Schools for 13 years beginning in 2005 with teaching at Pope John XXIII Elementary School, transitioning into social studies education at Shawe Memorial.

In 2012 he was promoted to principal replacing Jerry Bomholt who at that time left for Franklin Community High School.

Hesse’s wife, Lisa, accepted a job in the Hopkinsville, Kentucky area, which prompted the family’s decision to move.
