Award has not been given in two years due to Covid

HISTORIC MADISON ANNOUNCES PRESERVATION AWARD RECIPIENTS Friday night at its 60th Anniversary celebration, Historic Madison, Inc. President John Staicer announced the 2020 and 2021 Reindollar Award recipients. The 2020 award went to Denton Floyd Real Estate for their rehabilitation of the Tower Manufacturing Complex into Riverside Lofts. The 2021 award went to Riverton LLC / Ron & Maureen Bateman for their rehabilitation of the Eagle Cotton Mill into the Fairfield Inn & Suites at the Historic Eagle Cotton Mill. In his remarks, Staicer noted “Madison is an amazing historic community because of people and organizations like Denton Floyd and Ron & Marlene Bateman and their partners at Riverton. Historic Preservation is one of the major economic divers in our community. Thank you to both Reindollar Award recipients for doing the hard work to invest and find new uses for key historic structures in Madison!” Historic Madison, Inc., a non-profit historic preservation organization, established the Dorothy Inglis Reindollar Preservation Award in her memory to recognize a person, project, or organization that most closely emulates the enthusiasm, spirit, and dedication of Mrs. Reindollar in all her pursuits.
