At this time the cause of the fire is unknown but is believed to have started due to the dryer.

(Milton, Ky.) – Yesterday, crews with Milton Fire and Rescue were dispatched to the report of a fire on Trout Ridge Road.
Upon arrival, crews found a single wide mobile home fully engulfed. Crews with Milton, Bedford, Madison, and Westside Fire Departments worked for several hours to extinguish the fire.
The residence is a total loss, and minor damage was found on the neighboring home. The occupant of the home and her two children were able to escape without injury.
