INDIANAPOLIS – Applications for the Indiana Department of Transportation’s engineering scholarship are now open for Hoosier students.
Each year, INDOT offers a limited number of scholarships to engineering students who can play a critical role in Indiana’s infrastructure.
Scholarship recipients receive $3,125 per semester and work in a paid internship during the summer. After graduation, recipients receive priority hiring within the agency. Scholarships can be applied toward an undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering, or a combination of both.
To apply, students must:
- Be currently enrolled or accepted into a school of engineering at an Indiana ABET-accredited college or university.
- Have completed at least one year of college or will complete one year of college by May 2025.
- Attend school full-time.
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale.
The deadline to apply is December 31.
