                            More arrests may be made
For the past three weeks, three Carroll County Deputies and Sheriff Gosser, have been investigating the theft of numerous items in the Ghent and Carrollton areas.
In conjunction with a joint investigation with the Gallatin County Sheriff's Office, our Office has been able to recover over sixty thousand of dollars worth of stolen property, including a John Deere Tractor, a Ford F250 pickup and a Gator UTV. Sheriff Gosser and Sheriff Neal recovered some of the items in Gallatin County yesterday.
We were also able to solve a criminal mischief case that was related to the thefts that occurred near Ford Road. An individual has been charged with these crimes and is currently incarcerated in the Switzerland County Jail .
The investigation is ongoing between Carroll, Gallatin, and Switzerland Counties, and more arrests are expected.
Our office is grateful for the cooperation and information sharing between our three counties that enabled these crimes and several in Gallatin County and Switzerland to be cleared by arrest.
