(Madison, Ind.) – Ivy Tech Madison campus will be hosting a series of virtual job fair events over the next four months.
These job fair events are replacing previously scheduled location-based events that have been reformatted due to the stay at home order.
"Instead of canceling the event altogether, we felt there was a need to do something to support both employers who had to hire and those who had to have a job during these difficult times,” stated Nina Alcorn, Ivy Tech Madison’s Career Coach. “Our plan is to hold these virtual fairs through July and a face-to-face fair in the Fall when it's safe and more employers are hiring."
The job fairs will begin on April 23 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., with subsequent dates on May 7, May 21, June 4, June 18, and July 2. Each event will feature local employers. Job seekers are encouraged to have a copy of their resume to share digitally and come prepared to network with employers.
Job seekers should RSVP to Nina Alcorn, aalcorn2@ivytech.edu and the zoom link for the event will be shared. Employers should reach out to Nina Alcorn if they are interested in participating.
