“We are very blessed by the community support for our 4-H program in Jefferson County, said Scott Hubbard, president of the Jefferson County Fair Board and co-chair of the livestock auction. “Our program is fortunate to have great adult leaders supporting kids that really take the program seriously. Every judge this year expressed how amazed they were with the professionalism and sportsmanship of youth that participated in the shows and the high quality of our programs, when compared to other county fairs they visit. We could not do this without the support of the businesses and individuals at our auction each year. The kids leave the auction feeling rewarded for their hard work and pumped up to come back next year because of this support.”
