Jefferson County Looking to Build Warehouse

Paying For Storage Annually

Officials with the Jefferson County Emergency Management are trying to find a solution to an existing problem, they are currently leasing space from the Jefferson County Fair Board at the Fairgrounds to store (PPE) for county officials but that is getting costly for the county and officials are wondering if building a warehouse to store all the equipment would be efficient to save the county money since the pandemic seems like a never ending thing. Annually the County is paying $ 20,000 with the new building it could store the (PPE) along with trailers and vehicles used by Emergency Management and Health Department. The County Commissioners are taking all these ideas under consideration
