Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested Hanover man on several narcotic related charges

Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputy Bradley Demaree arrested Robert Childress 43, Hanover, Indiana, on several narcotic related charges.  During the search of the Childress vehicle, Deputy Demaree located individual weighted packages of marijuana, numerous THC laced edibles, and paraphernalia associated with the use of marijuana.  In addition to the seized narcotics, Deputy Demaree seized in excess of $10,000.00 dollars in cash, located on the person of Mr. Childress.

 

Childress was transported to the Jefferson County Jail where he awaits his initial court appearance for dealing in marijuana (Level 6 Felony)  and maintaining a common nuisance.  Deputy Demaree was assisted by Madison Police Officers Phillip Wimpee and Brittany Tate.
