When attempting to make contact with the residents of the home, deputies observed drug paraphernalia inside the home

(Jennings County, Ind.) - On Friday, April 16, Jennings County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the request for a welfare check in Geneva Township.
When attempting to make contact with the residents of the home, deputies observed drug paraphernalia inside the home through an open window. Sergeant Cody Low applied for and was granted a search warrant through the Jennings County Circuit Court.
While executing the warrant, deputies located numerous syringes, paraphernalia, and suspected methamphetamine.
Gregory D. Loper, 50, was then arrested on the charges of:
- Maintaining a Common Nuisance (level 6 felony)
- Possession of Methamphetamine (level 6 felony)
- Possession of a Syringe (level 6 felony)
- Possession of Paraphernalia (class a misdemeanor)
