Juvenile Struck While Riding Big Wheel

Became entrapped underneath the vehicle

This past Friday at approximately 6:20 PM, the Vevay Police Department responded to a one vehicle injury accident in the 500 block of Pearl Street. A 6-year old male juvenile was struck while riding his big wheel and became entrapped underneath the vehicle.

Due to his injuries, the juvenile was airlifted to Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati. The Vevay Police Department was assisted on scene by members of the Switzerland County Sheriff’s Office, Switzerland County Emergency Response, and the Jeff-Craig Fire Department.

The accident is under investigation by the Vevay Police Department.
