List among nine hospitals in Indiana

King's Daughters' Health is among nine Indiana hospitals named to the Top 100 Rural & Community Hospitals list by The Chartis Center for Rural Health. The healthcare advisory and analytics company says its lists are based on the results of the Hospital Strength Index from iVantage Health Analytics, which provides a "comprehensive and objective assessment of rural provider performance."

The Chartis Center says the hospitals that make the list serve as benchmarks for the other rural facilities. These facilities excel in managing risk, achieving higher quality, securing better outcomes, increasing patient satisfaction, and operating at a lower cost than their peers.

"Being named a Top 100 Rural and Community Hospital is a testament to the exceptional team members we have here at King's Daughters' Health," said KDH President/CEO Carol Dozier. "Their commitment to quality and patient satisfaction is a driving force behind our success. They embrace what it means to care for others."

In addition to the Top 100 Rural & Community Hospitals list, three Indiana hospitals were named to the list of Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals.
