The Kentuckiana Medical Center in Clarksville informed employees that their employment will be terminated on April 27 as a result of the health facility's closure.

Kentuckiana Medical Center, 4601 Medical Plaza Way, off of U.S. 31 in Clarksville, employs more than 200 people, and has been in operation since 2009, according to a 2014 post on its website.
Kentuckiana Medical Center filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in 2013.
A warn notice, signed by Michael Phillips of Galichia Hospital Group, which manages the hospital, informed employees that their employment will be terminated on April 27 as a result of the closure.
According to the notice, employee benefits coverage will also end on April 27.
Employees are being asked to work through the 60-day warn notice period.
