Kentucky State Police Charge Gallatin County Man with Multiple Counts of Child Sex Abuse Offense

Warsaw, KY. (December 04, 2021) –Kentucky State Police Post 5 received a complaint from the Cabinet for Health and Family Services in reference to an allegation of a twelve(12) year old having been abused. 

After an extensive investigation which included multiple interviews with numerous people including the suspect, Michael Darby 28 year old male of Warsaw Kentucky, was charged with ten(10) counts of Sex Abuse victim under 12. The charges are in reference to three(3) separate victims.  These charges are Class-C felonies punishable by five(5) to ten(10) years in prison.

Darby was transported to and lodged at the Carroll County Detention Center.  The ongoing investigation is being conducted by a KSP Post 5 detective.
