 
                            In Trimble Co.
On Thursday December 26th at approximately 6:04 pm Kentucky State Police Post 5 was notified of a domestic violence incident that had occurred in Trimble County. Upon arrival officers determined Christopher Bell (45) of Bedford had been involved in a domestic violence assault with his brother and mother, and then returned to his residence at 44 Ogden Ridge Road.
Officers were unable to make contact with Christopher at his residence. Having received information indicating there was a potential barricaded subject in the residence, KSP Special Response Team was activated and responded to the scene. Utilizing a robotic device, SRT located two individuals inside the residence with what preliminary investigation indicates are self-inflicted gunshot wounds. The two individuals were identified as Christopher Bell and Christen Bell (45) of Bedford; the two were husband and wife. Christen was pronounced deceased at the scene. Christopher was transported via Trimble County EMS to Carroll County Memorial Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
