Worthville, Ky. (July 9, 2025) – The Kentucky State Police in Campbellsburg were contacted just before 1:00 am about a trespassing complaint in the Eagle Creek Resort area of Owen County, where shots were fired.
Upon arrival, Troopers located a 26-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his right arm. Troopers provided aid to the man until Owen County EMS arrived. The man was transported to the University of Louisville Hospital for treatment.
This is an ongoing investigation by KSP Post 5. KSP was assisted on the scene by Owen County EMS, New Liberty Fire Department, and PHI Air Medical.
