Crash remains under investigation
LOCKPORT Ky. (09/25/2023) –On Sunday September 24, 2023 Kentucky State Police Post 5 in Campbellsburg received a report of a collision at 4254 River Road in Lockport.
Troopers responded to the scene where the preliminary investigation indicated that a Nissan passenger car was traveling south on KY 389 before exiting the left side of the roadway for an unknown reason. After leaving the roadway the vehicle struck a tree.
The driver of the vehicle and sole occupant, Justin Brindley of Lexington Kentucky, was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Henry County Coroner. Next of kin has been notified.
This is an ongoing investigation being conducted by KSP Post 5.
