The charge of Murder comes from a continued death investigation
At approximately 2:15 p.m. Friday afternoon, the Kentucky State Police of Post 5 Campbellsburg executed a warrant on Gregory Heightchew (20) of Smithfield, KY for Murder. Heightchew was served with the warrant at the Oldham County Detention Center where he is currently housed for other charges including Attempted Murder.
The charge of Murder comes from a continued death investigation led by KSP related to a decedent that was discovered burned within a vehicle in Lockport, KY last week. The decedent was positively identified today as Elijah Creekmore (22) of Henry County. The next of kin for Mr. Creekmore have been notified. The investigation is ongoing.
