LEADERSHIP JEFFERSON COUNTY ACCEPTING APPLICANTS FOR 2019 CLASS

Applications Are Due October 31, 2018

- Leadership Jefferson County, a program housed at the Community Foundation of Madison & Jefferson County, is now accepting applications for the 2019 course. The course consists of 10 biweekly sessions that will help participants have a better understanding of resources and relationships in the community. Throughout the course, community members and topic experts will speak and share their insights. All sessions will be held from 8am to Noon, with lunch to follow, and meeting locations will vary. Leadership Jefferson County is an action project that evolved from Envision Jefferson County.

“Leadership Jefferson County was nothing short of life changing,” said Chris Mattern, a member of the Leadership Class of 2018. “I came into the program wanting to learn how to be more involved in the community and I left not only involved, but motivated to be a part of positive change and growth in Jefferson County.”

Applications to participate must be received by October 31, 2018. Applications are available online at www.cfmjc.org/ leadership.php or can be picked up at the Community Foundation office at 416 West Street, Madison, Indiana. Selected participants will pay a $200 enrollment fee prior to beginning the session. Courses and dates for the upcoming session include:

January 9, 2019 - Introduction & Orientation January 23, 2019 - Education February 6, 2019 - Nonprofits & Volunteerism February 20, 2019 - Business & Economics March 6, 2019 - Healthcare March 20, 2019 - Industry April 3, 2019 - Social Services April 17, 2019 - Government Agencies & Organizations May 1, 2019 - History May 15, 2019 - Tourism May 29, 2019 - Recognition Luncheon
