Saturation netted five felony arrest


October 29, 2022, The Madison Police Department and The Jefferson County Sheriff's Department joined forces for a saturation patrol detail. The goal of this four hour detail was as follows - drug interdiction at the street level, seek out impaired drivers. and general traffic concerns.
The results of the detail are as follows; Traffic Stops - 35, Written Warnings - 14, Verbal Warnings - 18, Citations - 3, & Felony Arrest - 5
The five felony arrests resulted in the seizure of: methamphetamine, marijuana, THC vapes, drug paraphernalia, U.S. currency, and the recovery of a stolen vehicle.
The Madison Police and Jefferson County Sheriff's Department appreciates the efforts of Central Dispatch during this operation.
