Local Law Enforcement Officers Receive Medals of Valor For Life Saving Effort

Saved a man from jumping from bridge

Local law enforcement officers, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputies Linton Spry, Ben Flint and Captain Keith Hartman along with Madison Police Chief Jeremey Perkins and Major Ben McKay received Medals of Valor for their decisive actions on May 4 on the Madison Milton Bridge, which saved the life of a man threatening to jump at a ceremony Friday.
