Local Organizations Host Jefferson County Job Fair

This event will be held at Ivy Tech - Madison Campus

The Jefferson County Job Fair is returning in 2022. Occurring over three days in April, the Job Fair will be held in the Business Conference Center at the Ivy Tech Community College Madison campus, hosted by Ivy Tech, WorkOne Southeast, River Valley Resources and Hanover College.

The schedule of events for each day will be the same: The Job Fair will open from 10am to 1pm, a “Lunch and Learn” session will be held from 1 to 2pm where interested parties can learn more about the organizations hosting the fair, and then the job fair will open again from 3pm to 5:30pm.

On April 7, the Job Fair will target job seekers and employers in the industrial, manufacturing, trucking and construction industries. The April 14 Job Fair will focus on business, non-profit and mental health organizations. And the April 21 session of the Job Fair will be for the healthcare sector, including nursing, pre-medicine and health sciences.

Local employers who are interested in having a presence at the Jefferson County Job Fair can contact Nina Alcorn at aalcorn2@IvyTech.edu or Rosie Rohmann at erohmann@dwd.in.gov.

The Jefferson County Job Fair is open to citizens of Jefferson County and the surrounding areas, whether you are unemployed, looking to change your career or are a current student at Ivy Tech, Hanover College or IU East. Job seekers are encouraged to bring copies of their résumé to the Job Fair and to come prepared to network with employers.
