Lydia Middleton Elementary Goes Virtual Until Dec. 3

All extracurricular activities are suspended until further notice. 

(Madison, Ind.) - It has been announced by Lydia Middleton Elementary School that the students will be moving to virtual learning effective immediately. 

Students will return to face-to-face instruction until Thursday, December 3. 

The school announced that this change to virtual instruction is due to staffing issues. The school has one positive case and several teachers out due to being considered close contacts. Currently, contact tracing is taking place and if your child is determined a close contact, you will be contacted by the school. 

A Lydia Middleton staff are reporting to the building to teach from their classrooms unless quarantined as a close contact or positive case. 

All extracurricular activities are suspended until further notice.
