Madison Fire Department Responds to Report of Fire From Lighting Strike

After checking the area around the structure, they determined that the smoke was coming from the dryer area of the home.

(Madison, Ind.) – On July 22, Madison Fire Department responded to a report of lightning possibly striking a home on Franklin Drive.

When crews arrived on the scene, they saw light smoke in the structure.

After checking the area around the structure, they determined that the smoke was coming from the dryer area of the home.

There were no injuries reported in the incident.
