I'm "AMELIA".I'm a lap cat, so adopt me and we'll keep each other warm this winter.

You'll find me lounging in the shelter lobby as I do not like being in my cage.
I'm 5- to 7-years-old and not used to being carried, so a home with young children who want to carry me is not ideal.
I'm not fond of dogs either. I will hiss or run away.
I would be okay with dogs that would leave me alone or if I have my own space where they can't follow me.
Come in and visit me and you'll find out why I'm a favorite.
You'll laugh if you find me laying 'frog-legged'.
You might even find me in the shelter director's office. I've decided that I like to help her with paperwork.
