Madison Man Arrested for Burglary Charges, Intimidation of Law Enforcement

All indications found that Ginn was in the process of removing articles from the trailer when confronted.

(Madison, Ind.) - On Thursday, July 23, Madison Police arrested Jarrod P. Ginn, 38, of Madison for burglary, intimidation of law enforcement, and resisting law enforcement. 

Madison police responded to a report of an unknown male attempting to gain entry into vehicles in the parking lot of German American Bank on Clifty Drive. 

After officers located Ginn in the parking lot of the Speedway gas station, an investigation, led by Officer Jared Sweet, found he has gained entry into a trailer owned by German American Bank, however fled from it when confronted. All indications found that Ginn was in the process of removing articles from the trailer when confronted. 

Ginn was taken into custody. 

During the arrest process, Ginn threatened the officer, and police officers in general, with retaliation. The resisting law enforcement charge occurred when Ginn pulled away from officers and attempted to flee. 

Jarrod P. Ginn was transported to the Jefferson County Jail where he will await his initial hearing on the preliminary alleged charges. 

Officer Sweet was assisted with the investigation by Officer Chad Wehner and Lieutenant Dan Slygh.
