The victim was taken to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital for medical evaluation and interviewed at the Child Advocacy Center of Southeastern Indiana.

(Madison, Ind.) – Madison Police Detective Shawn Scudder led an investigation into the allegations of rape of a minor.
The victim was taken to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital for medical evaluation and interviewed at the Child Advocacy Center of Southeastern Indiana. As a result of the information obtained, officers of the Madison Police Department sought and received a search warrant for the suspect's residence in Madison.
Information and evidence obtained by investigators was presented to Prosecutor David Sutter’s Office for review, after reviewing the evidence a warrant was obtained for Robert R. Clark Jr., 24, of Madison.
On March 29, Clark was taken into custody without incident, Clark faces the following alleged charges of rape (level 3 felony), and sexual misconduct with a minor (level 4 felony).
Detective Shawn Scudder was assisted with the investigation by Detective Kyle Cutshaw, Patrolman Trent Smith, and Patrolman Cameron Blankenship.
