Madison Men Arrested On Warrants For Dealing Drugs

Several Months of Investigations

                                      

February 10, 2022, Madison Police served two arrest warrants for dealing methamphetamine.  The warrants were the result of a several month long investigation led by Madison Police Detectives Kyle Cutshaw and Ricky Harris  

Arrested:  Brenden V. Ferguson 36, Madison, Indiana.  Ferguson faces a Level 2 felony charge for dealing methamphetamine and a level 4 felony charge for possession of methamphetamine. Ferguson's bond was set at $100,000.00 cash only.   

Arrested:  Troy L. Smith 34, Madison, Indiana.  Smith faces a Level 3 felony charge for dealing methamphetamine.  Smith's bond was set at $50,000.00 cash only. (Smith's warrant was served to him at the Jefferson County Jail, where he is incarcerated on unrelated charges).  

Madison Police K-9 Officer Ben Flint, Patrolman Jared Sweet and Chief John Wallace assisted the detectives with the warrant service.  Brenden Ferguson, and Troy L. Smith have the presumption of innocence until otherwise proven guilty.  

Michael D. Woods 54, Madison, Indiana, and Benjamin A.M. Weary 40, Madison, Indiana, were previously arrested as part of this ongoing investigation. Both remain incarcerated at the Jefferson County Jail, on dealing methamphetamine charges.  Woods and Weary have the presumption of innocence until otherwise proven guilty.
