MADISON WOMAN ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES

Saturday, at approximately 1:20 AM Madison Police arrested Tiffany E. Stewart 44, Madison, Indiana, for possession of methamphetamine L-6 felony and driving while suspended (prior) class A misdemeanor.  

Patrolman Graham Heffelfinger executed a traffic stop on a vehicle operated by Stewart at the corner of West and Second Streets.  Patrolman Ben Flint's K-9 partner "Meko" conducted an open air sniff around Stewart's vehicle, and gave a positive indication for the presence of narcotics.

During the subsequent search of Stewart's vehicle, Captain Season Jackson located a crystal substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine. 

Tiffany Stewart has the presumption of innocence until otherwise proven guilty, all charges are alleged.
