She was arrested at her employment

July 15, 2023, Madison Police arrested Fern M. Blevins 41, Madison, Indiana, on narcotic related charges. Blevins was arrested as the result of an investigation led by Madison Police Patrol Officer Kyle Lane. Blevins was taken into custody at her place of employment, Circle K (downtown), after a search warrant, sought by Officer Lane, was served upon her. Blevins was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, and paraphernalia associated with the use of drugs. Information obtained during the investigation indicates Blevins was dealing narcotics while working at the Circle K.
Fern Blevins was taken into custody without incident and faces preliminary alleged charges of: DEALING METHAMPHETAMINE L-5 FELONY, POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE L-6 FELONY, POSSESSION OF A HYPERDERMIC NEEDLE L-6 FELONY, and POSSESSION OF PARAPHANAILIA CLASS C MISDEMEANOR. Blevins has the presumption of innocence until otherwise proven guilty. R. Wayne Phillips assisted Officer Lane with the investigation.
